Take a piece of copy paper and a light brown inkpad and add color using the direct to paper method.  Crumple the paper. And lightly go over the ridges using a darker brown and direct to paper method.  Spritz with water to help flatten out the paper.

Stamp the otter and saying onto a light brown cardstock and tear the edges all the way around.  Sponge the light brown color you used onto the background paper.
