Throughout my childhood, I loved arts and crafts. After college, I taught elementary school and enjoyed doing crafts with my students. In 1997, I went to a home scrapbooking party and found a great hobby that seemed very practical to me. I could create art and preserve our memories at the same time!
Then in 2001, I went to a stamping party and loved it immediately. Eventually, one of my stamping friends told me about The Technique Junkies Newsletter (www.techniquejunkies.com). I subscribed and was amazed at the endless creative possibilities with stamps and ink. I made card after card and also began incorporating stamps into my scrapbook layouts. Now I rarely scrap without stamps or at least ink. I enjoy trying new techniques and discovering new twists on old techniques.
I live in Washington State with my husband and two young sons. My main job is to be a mom. On the side, I enjoy scrapbooking with stamps, making cards, and going to step aerobics classes.
